IN-PERSON THERAPY IN BROOKLYN + MANHATTAN | VIRTUAL IN NY STATE

You’ve followed the scripts, you’ve checked off the milestones, and yet you’re still searching for something different. It’s okay to want more from life— and we can help you pursue it. We work at the intersection of identity, creativity, and human complexity.

Here are the experiences we're skilled at working with.

Trauma

Trauma isn't always a single event. Sometimes it's the accumulation of smaller ones, or the absence of something you needed. We work with complex childhood trauma, relational trauma, sexual trauma and gender-based violence, racial and religious trauma, and the aftermath of loss.

OCD + Anxiety

OCD (all types, we've seen it all), generalized anxiety, panic, social anxiety, perfectionism, anxious attachment, and health anxiety. When you feel like your body gets hijacked by your mind's worst fears.

Identity + Relationships

Gender identity and transition, sexuality, relationship patterns, nonmonogamy, family conflict, communication, abuse, attachment, people-pleasing, and the work of building community. Exploring questions of who you are and what kind of relationships you want.

Mood + Energy

Depression, grief, shame, emotional numbness, burnout, energy swings, PMDD, or feeling directionless in life. We find what's workable during times it feels hard to be present, motivated, or like yourself.

Creativity + Career

Creative blocks, performance anxiety, visibility fears, career transitions, and imposter syndrome. For people who want to feel more in alignment with their work, need help setting boundaries, or who are working up the courage to build and do more.

Life Transitions

Moves, breakups, graduations, babies, job changes, new chapters and major life changes that change your roles and sense of self. We help you prepare, navigate, and orient around your new reality.

We also work with…

  • Fear of abandonment, codependency, and relational avoidance

  • Internalized shame, self hatred, resistance to self compassion

  • Family conflict, estrangement, and building chosen family

  • Body image concerns, disordered eating and chronic health issues

  • Challenges with vulnerability, asking for help, being visible

  • Highly sensitive people who think and feel deeply

  • Control behaviors, rigidity, and high standards

  • Intersectional identities, intercultural dynamics, and bias

  • Money beliefs, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy

Ready to get started or need help finding the right fit?

  • We offer free 15-minute consultation calls to hear more about your needs, answer any questions you have, and make a recommendation about which therapist and modalities might be the right fit for you. We’re also more than happy to provide referrals for outside providers if no one in our practice can meet your needs.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule directly on our booking page to set up a free consultation call. If you’re ready to move forward after the consultation call, we’ll schedule a 60-minute intake evaluation and determine the best course of therapy for you.

  • We ask all new clients to meet with us weekly for the first 3-4 sessions to establish a strong foundation. From there, you and your therapist will discuss the ideal cadence for your clinical and scheduling needs.

  • Our fees range from $200-250 for 45 minute sessions and $250-330 for 60-minute sessions. We’re out of network providers, so we don’t directly take insurance, but we can give you receipts to submit for potential reimbursement if you have out of network benefits. More info on that here.

  • We have a very limited number of sliding scale spots available for those in financial need.
