Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Group

We’re recruiting interest for a Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) group.

  • Small, intimate group of 3-6 people guided by two licensed therapists

  • Ketamine administered via prescription lozenge in a safe, comfortable, and carefully prepared space

  • Structured group preparation sessions before and integration sessions after each dosing experience

  • Designed for people already in individual therapy who are ready to go deeper

  • A special opportunity to do psychedelic-assisted work in a relational, community context

You might be wondering…

  • KAP combines the use of ketamine, a legal prescription medication with rapid-acting effects on mood and consciousness, with psychotherapy. The medicine helps soften habitual mental patterns and access material that can be harder to reach in talk therapy alone. The therapy is what turns the experience into lasting change.

  • Most psychedelic-assisted work happens one-on-one. A group offers something different: the chance to be witnessed, to witness others, and to do this work in a relational context. For many people, that's where the deepest material lives — and where healing lands most fully.

  • This group is designed for people who are already established in individual therapy and feel ready to go deeper. It's well-suited to those working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, or a sense of being stuck — and who are drawn to doing this work alongside others rather than alone.

  • The group meets for preparation sessions before each dosing experience, the dosing session itself, and integration sessions afterward. The arc is designed so you're never doing the medicine work in isolation from the meaning-making that follows.

  • That's okay — many group members will be in the same position. Preparation sessions are designed to help you understand what to expect and to build trust with the group and the facilitators before any medicine is involved.

  • Ketamine prescriptions and group psychotherapy are generally not covered by insurance, though some members can use out-of-network benefits or HSA/FSA funds. We're happy to walk through the logistics with you.
